Tuna and white beans, straight from the tin

Nothing is heated and nothing is cooked. A tin, a pouch and a bag of spinach, which is about the limit of what is possible on a bad day.

  • Tuna pouch1 pouch, drained 26 g
  • White beans (tinned)half a tin, rinsed 10 g
  • Baby spinacha large handful 1 g
  • Olive oil1 tsp

How

  1. Tip the beans into a sieve and rinse them under the cold tap.
  2. Put the spinach in a bowl, the beans on top, then flake the tuna over with a fork.
  3. Trickle the oil over and squeeze on some lemon if you have it.

💡 Worth knowing

Rinsing the beans is worth the thirty seconds -- it takes most of the tinned taste away, which matters more than usual when your sense of taste has changed.
